Watkins Traded to Rams, Bills acquire Matthews

WR Sammy Watkins traded to the Rams 
According to NFL.com the Buffalo Bills have traded wide receiver Sammy Watkins to the Los Angeles Rams. The Bills traded Watkins and an 2018 sixth round draft pick to the Rams and the Bills will receive Corner back E.J. Gaines and the Rams’ 2018 second round draft pick. 
The Bills were not done wheeling and dealing just quite yet. In a separate trade Buffalo acquired Jordan Matthews from the Eagles in exchange for corner back

Watkins was the Fourth overall pick by the Bills in 2014. Watkins had his best season as a pro during the 2015 season where complied 1,047 yards on 60 receptions with 9 touchdowns wile averaging 17.5 yards a catch. He joins fellow receiver Tavon Austin as a formidable 1-2 punch in a Rams offense who is looking to bounce back from  last seasons 4-12 record in their return to L.A. after relocating from St. Louis last year.
Matthews, a was drafted in the same draft as Watkins but in the second round at pick #42 recorded 803 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns last season with the Eagles.
